Driver License Services
Driver License services are provided by the Levy County Tax Collector's Office. An additional $5.25 service fee is charged for services provided by The Tax Collector's Office. The following is a list of most of the Driver License Services we provide, with a brief description of requirements. For answers to more specific questions please call us at 352-486-5180.
General Services
- Driver Licenses originals and ID Cards
- Duplicate/Replacement
- Renewals
- Suspension Clearances
- Financial Responsibility Clearance
- Road Test (except CDL & motorcycle)
- Endorsement written test
Or, you can renew your driver license online at express.hsmv.state.fl.us
Renewal Information
Renewal of Florida Driver License, Commercial Driver License (CDL) or Florida ID Card
- Your expired Driver License or ID card.
- Vision Test
- Hazardous Materials Test, for CDL, that has an "H" or "X" endorsement.
Renewal of Valid in Florida Only Driver License
- Your expired Florida License and your current Out of State License.
- Vision Test.
REPLACEMENT/DUPLICATE
Lost Florida Driver License or Lost Florida ID Card
- One form of identification. Something with your name on it, as long as it is NOT a handwritten note.
Note: If your Driver License or ID Card expires for more than one year, it may not be possible for us to find it on our system. If your lost, Driver License or ID Card is expired, you may be required to comply with requirements pertaining to someone that has never had a license.
